damien hurley - director
Damien has been involved in amateur theatre for 24 years. Since first undertaking the director’s role in 2015 he has guided several pantomimes, and took his first step into musical theatre direction in 2016 for Baldoyle Musical Society’s Seussical the Musical, which received three AIMS nominations. The following year, again with Baldoyle MS he directed the Dolly Parton musical comedy 9 to 5. Damien first became involved with MMDS in 2013 for their production of Crazy for You playing the part of Lank Hawkins and returned in 2018 for Sister Act to take on Sweaty Eddie, a role he still has costume-related nightmares about to this day.
He has also performed both in amateur and professional productions with many groups throughout the Eastern Region.

jean gill - choreography
Jean has been dancing from an early age in a variety of styles. She has specialised in Tap, HipHop, Contemporary, ballroom and musical theatre.
She received her Diploma in Dance in Education at the University of Limerick. She has been involved in choreography for many years with her work covering musicals, weddings, variety shows, flash mobs, fitness classes, and Strictly come dancing. She also works at the Eileen Gill Stage School in Sutton which has been established for over 45 years.
dave mcguaran - musical director
Dave is a graduate of NUI Maynooth, where he received a BMus and a MA in Music (Composition). A multi-instrumentalist he plays clarinet, saxophone and piano.
Dave has worked as musical director for many prestigious Irish musical societies. Shows performed have included Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Mack and Mabel, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Hot Mikado, Rent, Oklahoma!, The Pirates of Penzance, Oliver and Crazy for You. He was musical director and co-orchestrator for the world premiere production of Goodnight Mr. Tom: The Musical in November 2008 at the Civic Theatre, Dublin.
Dave has played and conducted in the orchestra pits of some of Ireland’s best known theatres, including the Gaiety Theatre, the Olympia Theatre and the National Concert Hall, Dublin and Theatre Royal, Waterford. He has played all over Asia, Europe and America as the saxophonist with Riverdance, as well as featuring in the DVD "Riverdance: Live in Beijing". He has also performed as a saxophonist with the RTE Concert Orchestra.
In 2013 Dave received the AIMS award for Best Musical Director, for his work on Clane Musical Society's production of Sweeney Todd. He also became a co-founder of the Music for Fun Orchestra, which was set up to encourage music education for all ages, in a fun and engaging way.
Recent productions for Dave include The King and I with Kilmore Variety Group, 9 to 5, Sister Act and Sweeney Todd with Newbridge Musical Society and Some Like it Hot and The Witches of Eastwick with Baldoyle Musical Society.
